CLASSICAL DERMATOLOGY.

OPERATIVE DERMATOLOGY.

In surgical dermatology, we treat skin changes with the utmost precision and care. Whether it is the removal of skin tumors, disturbing skin changes or aesthetic procedures - we combine modern technology with an individual approach.

OUTPATIENT SURGERY FOR SKIN CHANGES.

At Derma + Co. we perform outpatient operations under local anesthesia. We cover the entire spectrum of skin surgery, e.g. in the head, neck, face and trunk areas.

Moles that have unusual characteristics can indicate a potentially dangerous change. In particular, so-called dysplastic nevi - altered pigmented moles - carry the risk of developing into a malignant melanoma. Since the ABCDE rule is often difficult for laypeople to assess, a specialist examination using a reflected light microscope is essential. If we classify a mole as unusual, we remove it surgically and have it examined in a histological laboratory for further clarification.

Skin cancer can vary greatly in its extent and thickness. In our modern practice, we use minimally invasive surgical dermatology procedures, particularly for cell growths that have penetrated deep into the tissue. These techniques enable the affected areas to be removed safely. The procedures are usually performed under local anesthesia, so you will hardly feel any restrictions during or after the operation. The treatment is almost painless.

In our modern operating room, we also place great value on achieving satisfactory aesthetic results through precise cutting and suturing techniques. In addition, we also cover the rest of the spectrum of dermatosurgery and remove benign skin changes such as lipomas, cysts and histiocytomas with great care.

After a benign or malignant skin lesion has been removed, we carry out a histological examination. This allows us to quickly initiate further treatment if necessary. We accompany you in the operating room with many years of expertise and ensure that you feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the entire process.
